The Constance Zimmer Legacy Society

Dumbarton Arts & Education was founded in 1979 by the inimitable Constance (Connie) Zimmer to provides extraordinary concerts for patrons of all ages and improves the lives of young children through the transformative power of the arts. We are committed to continuing Connie’s legacy by providing these enriching experiences to the people of Washington, DC for many years to come.

We hope you will consider joining with us to ensure this programming continues to benefit future generations by making a legacy gift to Dumbarton Arts & Education and its programs, Dumbarton Concerts and Inspired Child. Leaving a planned gift through a charitable bequest in your will or living trust is an exceptional way to combine your desire to support our mission and your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals.

Legacy Society members will be able to elect to be given special recognition at our concerts and in our annual reports, and they are also invited to annual special events celebrating the organization’s vital work and our shared commitment to it. The first Constance Zimmer Legacy Society event featured a tour of the Kreeger Museum guided by two artists featured in its collection followed by a picnic at the Field School.
