DANCING WITH BOOKS™

Each year, Inspired Child partners with many different DC public schools, charter schools, and child development centers to bring multi-week arts-based classroom residencies to early learners. With our team of incredible teaching artists, the Dancing With Books™ program uses music, movement, and visual arts to support classroom learning standards and promote cognitive and social emotional development.

DANCING WITH BABIES™

Dancing With Babies™ is a classroom residency specifically for infants and toddlers (children ages birth to three). Developed in collaboration with Dr. Jessica Phillips-Silver, a researcher in the Department of Neuroscience at Georgetown University Medical Center, our innovative, research-based program weaves the arts, brain science, and human connection to produce positive developmental outcomes for infants and toddlers.

Rainbowdance®

Rainbowdance, created by the Boston Children’s Foundation, is a trauma-informed music and movement program for toddlers. This program is geared towards children ages 18 months-36 months and the adults who care for them. This unique arts-based program fosters the social and emotional skills necessary for children to thrive, and it offers children the opportunity to express themselves.
